What do we eat in Warsaw ? - Colin
From saturday 15 to monday 17 march I was in Warsaw with my friends to see a friend of us, who is doing his Erasmus in this place. We have done many things during this week like visit the old town, enjoy the multiples gardens in the city and souvenirs shops. We also went to the Warsaw Rising Museum to learn about the Warsaw polish's condition during the world war two.
Between the visit, we enjoy a huge variety of dishes in Warsaw and I'm going to present them to you.

Lunch : The Pierogi
First of all, we have the pierogi, one of the most famous dishes in Poland.
It's the first meal we eat in Warsaw, our friend guid us to an small restaurant named PierOrgarnia, it's was really fun and we eat for only 22 złoty (the local currency) equivalent to around 5 euros, it's very cheap.
So the pierogi are filled dumplings with anything why want, and as a vegetarian, I choose the "pierogi ruskie" filled with white cheese and potato. When we order with have the choice of the cooking method and the topping and our friend recommend it fried instead of boiled with oinions. It was really good.
Snack : Chimney Cake
After lunch we decide to visit the old town, during our journey we want to taste a snack of Warsaw. We find a chimney cake shop in a street and decide to taste it. Even if the chimney cake is a hungarian dish, it's part of the Poland gastronomy.
The Kürtőskalács, more popularly called the chimney cake is a spit-cooked caramelized brioche with the topping of our choice. The most popular one is with cinnamon but I choose the vanilla sugar instead.
It's was super tasty for 17 złoty (4 euros)

Dinner : Local beer and Mint puree
After finished the old twon visit, we moved to a jazz bar called Klub Spatif. Because of a concert inside with have to pay the entrance 30 złoty (7 euros) but it gave us a very cool ambiant.
Inside we drink local beer named Jynenka, which taste wery good, and we order a mint puree with multiples kind of breads and oils. All this for the price of 40 złoty (9,50 euros).
The whole evening costed me 70 złoty (16,70 euros) to enjoy a jazz concert and good meal and drink. I recommand this place !!!
