Our accomodation - Mladá Garda

All the accomodation are the same. You have one room with two single-beds, one room with a single-bed, a bathroom (toilet, shower and sink) and the entrance. The room where you can belong alone is more expansive than the shared one.Regarding the furnitures, or you are lucky, or you're not. Some of the rooms have a fridge, luxury ones have micro-waves. Previous roommates may have left pan and saucepan behind them. Nonetheless, you have enough storage in your room.

Wifi in your room is only possible if you subscribe to "Ynet" offer. Well, it's an association so it's like you have to pay the club entrance fees. It's XX€ for XX months.Other free options : - Use "eduroam" wifi (available in many places in Europe) but the quality is not the best.- Go to the central corridor / reception and use "IKMG_Free" wifi. Quality is better than the previous one.I suggest you to change / check your internet subscription.

Clean is not the best adjective to describe them. In fact, they are often disgusting/revolting. You can find them in block J and C. They are at the first, second and last floor. Two kitchens per floor, each of them eqquiped of a large sink and two hotplates of two.

Two launch rooms are available, one in block C and another one in block J. They both are equipped of 4 tumble dryers and washing machines. Each cycle is 2,85€. You have to use your own pods / softener.

You only can access to study rooms in block C for free. They are at the first, second and last floor. They are all different. Go to https://registration.ikmg.sk to ask the access. You have to subscribe to Ynet to get the access for block J ones.

You have to subscribe to get the access. It costs XX€ a month and it seems busy. Localised in block J, next to the launchroom. There is also a free streetworkout between the sports complex and Mladá Garda.

Once you received your ISIC card (you'll need to badge it to enter), send an email to cas@stuba.sk with your AID number and ask for the access. It's free. A track ; football, outdoor-futsal and tennis courts are available. It's situated behind Mladá Garda.

I don't suggest to deliver your parcels at Mladá Garda directly, favor pickups. Chloé and I ask our loved ones to send us stuffs that we forgot or couldn't bring with us. Any of them arrived at Mladá Garda. 2 out of 3 parcels were sent back to transmitters.
